This month on Trans Talk we are going to first interview Freddie Dolphus, who recently spoke at both the Kansas City Demonstration for Transgender Rights and the Transgender Day of Remembrance. Freddie is a licensed physical trainer and martial artist, and he wants to a start a gym for women of color and the LGBT community in the urban core. Then we will be joined by Saphirah Pociluyko to have a group discussion about the two recent transgender events, and what we could do to build on that momentum to increase transgender visibility and the sense of community.
We will have a take on the transgender news of the month and then finish up the show with the community calendar update. I do hope you will be able to join us this Saturday, November 24th at 1:00 pm on 90.1 KKFI, Kansas City Community Radio! You can also stream the program live on kkfi.org, or via various apps on your phone.
